„Curtains up“ for first-class acoustics in the State Theater of Braunschweig.
Since September 2010 the State Theater Braunschweig has an outstanding, newly installed, room acoustics system, which extends the State Theater into a genuine Multi-line (Economical) building(theater). This acoustic improvement was made possible by the Netherlands company ACS (Acoustic Control Systems) by conceiving and start-up of the digital room acoustics system by Pan Acoustics.
As a result, The State Theater of Braunschweig has become an Acoustical bead in the north of Germany. The Acoustic systems of ACS are distributed and project-engineered by Pan Acoustics GmbH. ACS makes variable room acoustics possible, by just pushing a knob, the individual Musical taste can be changed. Thereby the instrumentale rendition is fundamentally improved, for example with a Symphonie concert or an opera.
Together with the musicians and the director Mr. Joel, Pan Acoustics and ACS have developed the room acoustic system as a variable reverberation time extension system and adjusted it to their optimal hearing sensitivity.
In addition all spectators / listeners have, due to the adjustable reverberation in the room, a more refined ability to locate and are now, even sitting in the poorer ranks, acoustically still " in the front row."
