Roomacoustics deals with the sonic clarity of rooms and other closed spaces.
It is a subgroup of acoustics (sonic science). 

Deals with soundproofing between outside and inside and between the rooms within a building. The acoustics of a room can be measured with the help of electro acoustic apparatus (sonic systems, loudspeaker systems) and therefore be optimized.
